How do I open direct messages?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the centre `Chat` button in the bottom navigation.
How do I open an existing conversation?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the center `Chat` button.
2. Tap the conversation you want to open.
How do I start a new conversation?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the center `Chat` button.
2. Tap the new chat button on the chat screen.
3. Search for the person you want to message, or select them from the list.
4. Tap their name to open the conversation.
How do I send a direct message?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the center `Chat` button.
2. Open a conversation.
3. Type your message.
4. Tap send.
What do I do if I cannot send a direct message?
From the conversation screen:
1. Read the message shown by the app.
2. If the app says you do not have access, review your membership.
3. If the app says the other user only accepts followers, follow that user first if that option is available.
4. If the app says you are blocked, you will not be able to message that user.
How do I open Chat settings?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the `Settings` icon in the top right.
2. On the Settings screen, tap `User Setup`.
3. Tap the `Chat` tile.
How do I control who can message me?
From the Home screen:
1. Tap the `Settings` icon in the top right.
2. Tap `User Setup`.
3. Tap `Chat`.
4. Turn direct messages on or off if needed.
5. Allow or block non-followers if needed.
6. Manage allowed tiers if needed.
7. Manage your allow list if needed.
8. Manage your block list if needed.
