We’re living in a day where there’s so much fear. Many feel as if they need to consistently look over their shoulder to ensure there isn’t danger creeping up on them from behind.
There’s crime of every kind – in our malls, in our neighbourhoods, and beyond our borders. However, the fear that plagues many has recently evolved, as the World has been struck with fear of a new and invisible enemy.
I want to draw your attention to today’s scripture. The promise is that no matter how many thousands of people are falling on your left and your right, you shall not be harmed. The verses before this says, “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday…” (Psalm 91:5-6)
It doesn’t matter what great lengths you go through to protect yourself and your family – you can have bodyguards, high walls, and tight security systems, or you can boost yourself with vitamins, vaccinations and anything you can get your hands on – but nothing will give you a greater sense of safety, security, and peace than knowing that God is your Protector.
Deuteronomy 28:7 says, “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” (NKJV)
Know that when you dwell in the secret place, He hides you from the enemy. In that place, you become untouchable. You’re surrounded by angels, heavenly hosts, and the blood of Jesus Christ. Refuse to fear, knowing that your safety is guaranteed.
Prophetic Declaration
I refuse to fear! I am protected on every side. You go before me, You walk beside me, You’re my rear guard and my defence. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
