1. Sacrifice: Giving Up Our Isaac
We must be willing to surrender our MOST PRECIOUS possessions, desires, and dreams, just like Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac. This demands TOTAL surrender, steadfastness, and immovability.
2. Demonstrating Spiritual Strength: Carrying the Burdens of Others
Like Moses and Jesus, we must be willing to carry the burdens of others, which requires absolute surrender to God and is a vital aspect of servanthood. Our spiritual strength is measured by how much weakness we can carry for others, and it’s no easy task!
3. Embodying Servanthood: Honouring and Respecting Others
As Christians, we must embody servanthood by HONOURING and RESPECTING others, even when difficult.
In conclusion, to truly step into God’s will, we must develop a servant’s heart. We must cultivate a passion and burning desire to see the lost saved and be willing to serve others with humility and excellence. This requires a SACRIFICIAL love for others and a willingness to deny ourselves daily.
