“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 (NKJV)
A few months ago, as I was in prayer, the Lord reminded me of an encounter that I had with Him. This encounter was a few years ago, when I was crying out to the Lord, asking Him to show me His glory. When He answered, He simply showed me GOODNESS. There was no smoke, no cloud, no fire – just goodness. God clearly said, “Leon, the person that carries GOODNESS, carries my glory.” In that moment, I was shocked! He said that there is a quality and a secret to the glory of God that we so often miss.
Read what happened when Moses asked to see the glory of God…
“And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you…” (Exodus 33:18-19). That’s when Moses saw the goodness of God, then later, Moses saw the glory of God pass by him (Exodus 34:5-6).
The glory of God consists of being merciful, gracious, having long-suffering, goodness and truth. That’s when God said to me, “My goodness is My glory.” Since that moment, every man of God I meet, I look for one thing – the goodness. That is usually when I will see the glory of God. I prophesy that the glory of God is coming to this land through the goodness of His servants!
Prophetic Declaration
Holy Spirit, thank You for this revelation. Father, open my eyes that I may see Your goodness. May I experience Your glory just like Moses did, in Jesus Name, Amen.
