Is the Leon du Preez App free?
Yes. It's free to download, with a selection of sermons and the full Bible reader. Premium unlocks the full library, premium series and offline downloads for $14.99 a month (R299.99 in South Africa). The annual plan gives you 12 months for the price of 11.
I subscribe to EncounterNow. What happens now?
EncounterNow is being replaced by the Leon du Preez App. Download the app and sign in with the same email address linked to your EncounterNow subscription or partnership. Your free Premium access starts automatically on your first sign-in and lasts at least 30 days, or until your current EncounterNow paid-through date if that is later. Please move across now so your access is ready well before EncounterNow is retired.
How do I keep Premium after my free access ends?
In the app, go to Profile → Subscription to see your free-until date. Before it ends, tap Keep Premium to choose your plan. Your paid Premium subscription starts immediately when you do this; free access does not convert to a paid plan by itself. Partner discounts apply automatically according to your tier.
When and how should I cancel EncounterNow?
Only cancel EncounterNow after your App Premium subscription is active, so you don't lose access. You set up EncounterNow yourself, so only you can cancel it, where you originally subscribed. Website: sign in at encounternow.com → settings menu (top right) → Billing and Subscription → Manage Subscription → Cancel subscription, then choose "No thanks, I want to cancel". iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → EncounterNow → Cancel Subscription. Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → EncounterNow → Cancel subscription. Your EncounterNow access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
What is the difference between the two apps?
Both apps are free to download and open to everyone. The Leon du Preez App is where you watch sermons, read the Bible, begin each day with the Daily Experience and study in Bible School. The Leon du Preez Society app (LDP Society) is the prophetic community, with the Prophetic World feed and chat, and it is also where you partner with the ministry. Many people use both.
How do I become a partner?
Download the Leon du Preez Society app (also called the LDP Society app) and choose your partnership tier inside the app. That's also where you can upgrade, downgrade or manage your partnership. You can also
partner on the website.
Do partners get a discount on Premium?
Yes. Depending on your tier, you receive 20% to 100% off Premium: Access 20%, Standard 30%, Advanced 50%, Premium and Inner Circle 75%, and Covenant Partners 100%. Your discount applies automatically when you sign in with the email linked to your partnership. If it isn't showing,
WhatsApp us on +27 84 202 5018 or email
[email protected].
I'm a member of Encounter Church. Do I get a discount?
Yes. Official members of Encounter Church receive 10% off the monthly Premium subscription. Enter code
ENCOUNTER10 when you choose your Premium plan, signed in with the same email address you've given Encounter Church. The discount is applied only if you're a member on our records. If you're a member and the code doesn't apply, your app email may not match the email we have on record: simply
WhatsApp us on +27 84 202 5018 or
email our team and we'll gladly assist.
Can I combine discounts?
No. Partner, Encounter Church member and referral discounts can't be combined. If you qualify for more than one, your highest discount applies. Partners already receive their Partner discount automatically and don't need the member code.
How does the Refer a friend programme work?
Open the app, tap your Profile icon (top left), scroll to About and tap Refer a friend, then Share your invite link. Your friend gets 50% off their first month of Premium; the code fills in automatically when they open your link, or they can enter it when signing up. For every friend who completes their first paid month, you earn half a month of Premium credit. Two qualifying friends equal one free month of Premium, up to 12 months in total.
When do I receive my referral reward?
Your half-month of Premium credit is added only after your friend completes their first paid month. If you're subscribed, your free month is applied at your next renewal automatically. If you're on the free plan, you can redeem it for 30 days of Premium straight away. Free members can refer too, and your Refer a friend screen shows every invite, its status and your balance. Refunded, trial, complimentary or returning subscriptions don't count.
Is the Leon du Preez Society the same as the LDP Society app?
Yes. The Leon du Preez Society app is also known as the LDP Society app. Search for either name on the App Store or Google Play, or use the download buttons on this page.
