DAY 49 - CULTIVATING AN ATMOSPHERE
“But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.” 2 Kings 3:15 (NKJV)
Develop the art of waiting on God. This can be achieved in an anointed church atmosphere, which is cultivated by the combination of many gathering together to encounter Him, by the sound of preaching and the presence of God carried through worship, etc. But God desires for you can do this in your secret place as well. You can practice doing this. You can play sermons of anointed preachers, and listen to anointed worship music or instrumentals. You can use these means to seek God until you learn how to usher His presence into your room by simply raising your hands.
Remember, the speed of sound far exceeds the speed of silence. That means that as soon as you turn on anointed music, there can be an instant atmosphere created in your room, which carries the presence of God. Before you know it, you will realise that hours have gone by, where you have simply soaked in the Presence of God, and had Him speak to you. This is the most rewarding experience! We are constantly bombarded by TV, News, Radio and secular music. But the problem with these external sounds is that without us knowing, it prevents prayer and hinders us from entering God’s presence.
Invest in whatever it takes to create the right atmosphere for His presence in your home. As you cultivate this atmosphere, His glory will fill your room!
“Today, as I begin to cultivate the art of making an atmosphere where God can dwell, may I experience His glory in a higher dimension! Even now, I welcome You into my room, Holy Spirit. May You minister unto me.”
