Day 46 - You Are Made To Shine

Day 46 - You Are Made To Shine

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

Isaiah 60: 1-2 (KJV)

In this world, we find all manner of evil and untold suffering, yet you and I have been created to shine and reflect the glory of God to a dying world.

In your sphere of influence, you

have been called to make a difference. Wherever you find yourself, you can reveal the goodness of God. You have been strategically positioned to reach as many people as possible. Many make the mistake of thinking that the gospel is only preached behind the pulpit, but the truth is that your life is to be the

testimony of the Good News to somebody.

The Bible says we are written epistles. Our lives should testify to the existence and the goodness of God. The Bible says we were created for good works, which he ordained before the foundations of the world.

Just as a lighthouse is designed to warn ships of dangerous areas and to serve as a navigational aid, so should your light shine bright enough that it becomes a signpost to Christ and to help those in need of direction.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

“The glory of the Lord has risen upon me and I have been empowered to shine in a dark world. My life is a living testimony of the goodness of God. Many will turn to Christ because of me!”
