Day 36 - The Devil Is Defeated

Day 36 - The Devil Is Defeated

“You are of God, little children and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.”

1 John 4: 4 (NKJV)

It is God’s will that in this lifetime, you would live an abundant life. He desires for you to have the time of your life, enjoying every day that you have been given. Nothing should rob you of your joy, no matter what the circumstances are.

The devil is a defeated foe and he is under your feet. The only way he can face you in battle is if you take him from underneath your feet and allow him to talk to you. It

is important to know that the devil’s power is non-existent.

Many say but the devil roars like a lion, seeking who he will devour next. Read it correctly! The scripture is says, “he roars like a lion, seeking...”. When the lion that roars, it is seeking. That is what the devil tries to copy. He roars like a lion, but he has actually been destroyed. He isn’t a lion at all.

He is powerless over your life. The only lion with power is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and that’s Jesus Christ!

Notice that today’s scripture says that you have overcome. Your victory is in the past! It’s already done. You are not trying to overcome, because the battle was fought and won thousands of years ago. All that is required of us is to enjoy the spoils of war.

I have seen the truth. The devil is a defeated foe and I’m on the victorious side. Nothing can defeat me. I am the defeater. I am heavily protected, heavily defended, and heavily anointed in the Name of Jesus.
